    Our Puppet theatre “Teremok” is inviting you to watch some miracles. How do the miracles look like? - Your may ask.

 

 

    In our theatre a huge turnip is grown up! Come and watch this miracle! Spectacle is based on motives of Russian national fairy tale, that all the children know and like.

A.S. Pushkine

"Fairy tale about the golden fish"
 

    This spectacle is created on motives of a wonderful work of art written by Alexander Pushkine. In this show everything is magical: boundless blue sea is breathing, worrying, just like the living beast... Shining fish are swimming in the water, and shouting seagulls are flying very high. Only there a small, old hovel is suddenly turning into a big painted house, and a magnificent palace is growing just like a plant.

A.S. Pushkin

"Fairy-tale about pop and his worker Balda"
 

    Bright, musical spectacle is created on motives of a wonderful fairy-tale written by A.S Pushkin, and this show is supposed like a buffoonery action performed by wandering buffoons. Familiar plot, folk motives and music, cheerful and witty Balda won’t be boring to anyone!

The premiere was held on 27.08.2009.

S. Marshak

"Fairy tale about the silly little mouse"
 

    It is a mono-spectacle, created on motives of S.Y. Marshak’s works of art. His poetry works are highly appreciated by children. We are glad to present Marshak’s literary works to little viewers, showing them a fascinating story that would be interesting for adults, too

A. Borok

"CONCERTO GROSSO"
 

    Author offers you to solve something like a charade, and after that gives you his own answer. Decision can be very unpredictable! Here, like in our life, funny and sad things are close to each other. “CONCERTO GROSSO” – a big concert, but author uses the second meaning too. “CONCERTO GROSSO” is also a name of a music genre, basic feature of this music genre is opposition of one thing to another. For example one music instrument against the whole orchestra. In the show different types of puppets are used. Each scene in “CONCERTO GROSSO” is like a small spectacle: incendiary tap dance performed by actors, famous song “Vologda” in jazz style, and so on. Also you will see very unusual things such as the meeting of Charlie Chaplin and Faust; Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky sinning chanson; swans that are dancing step dance, and many, many other amazing events.

"Thumbelina"
 

    Our puppet theatre already worked with the Andersen’s works. Having watched the show, viewers will be plunged into a magical world of the fairy tale. It is a bright, romantic spectacle about adventures of a tiny girl “Thumbelina”, this show will be interesting for everybody

"Mishuk
or the Fairy-tale about disobedient bear cub"

 

    It’s very nice to become a grown-up and to be independent. The characters of our performance “Mishuk” want to feel free and adult and not to depend on their parents. What happen then you‘ll get to know if you see the fairytale. The performance “Mishuk” in an easy form helps children to understand simple but very important truths. By the opinion of the producer of the performance Andrew Knyaz’kov the fairytale “Mishuk” is about the following, “The most valuable thing in human life is the man’s family and the house where he lives. Whatever you are, your parents love you any way. Because they are your parents”.  Only love brings up a sensitive man who can sympathize  with someone.     

The premiere was held on October 26, 2007.        

    This show is created on a basis of a writer V.I. Belov’s work of art. Adventures of the funny bear cub Mishuk and his friends will be interesting for everyone. Empathizing heroes of this show, little viewers will discover easy, but very important moral. Having watched the show “Mishuk”, children are learning to appreciate love and care of their parents, to understand that there is nothing more important and cozy, than your home, where you are always welcome.

"Hanuma" 

     The performance for grown-ups “Hanuma” is shown on the Small stage of our theatre. The creators of this performance did everything in order to make it original and unforgettable. The story is about quick-witted matchmaker Hanuma who lives in sunny Georgia, the country of beautiful women and brave horsemen.  

         Directed to grown-ups.

    The performance for grown-ups “Hanuma” is shown on the Small stage of our theatre. The creators of this performance did everything in order to make it original and unforgettable. The story is about quick-witted matchmaker Hanuma who lives in sunny Georgia, the country of beautiful women and brave horsemen.

S. Y. Marshak

"The Teremok"   

  “There is a teremok (mini-palace) in the field, it is neither small, no big …”. Everyone knows this popular Russian folk fairytale. On seeing our performance children and grown-ups can look at the traditional tale afresh. The performance is funny, merry and nice, understandable even for the youngest spectators.

 The premiere of the play was held in June, 2007. 

    You may say it’s impossible to play the spectacle “Teremok” inside of theatre “Teremok”. But really in our theatre everything is possible! This show is bright, cheerful and very charming. It will be interesting for adults and for children.

A. S. Pushkin

 "The Fairytale about Tsar Saltan"

(a farcical performance in two acts on  motifs of Pushkin’s fairytale and quotations from  compositions of the 3rd-6th forms’ pupils, with a prologue, epilogue and a happy end)

The name of Alexander Pushkin is surrounded by various legends. Alexander Pushkin was known to be a cheerful man who loved joking. And not by chance our theatre has turned to the favorite Russian writer and poet’s creative work.   

The creators of the performance “The Fairytale about Tsar Saltan” let themselves to be funny and naughty, too. “The Fairytale about Tsar Saltan” is an extremely bright and dynamic performance in a joking farcical manner.

       The pupils’ utterances on Pushkin’s creation helped to make the performance so amusing and unusual. Combination of the traditional fairytale plot with quotations from pupils’ compositions fills the performance with sense of humor and makes it original.  

 The premiere of the play was held on May 12, 2007.  

    A buffoonery performance in two parts on motives of A.S. Pushkine’s fairy-tale and citations from written and oral statements given by scholars of 3-6 forms, with prolog, epilog and a happy end. Theatre is not casually used the creation works of adorable Russian writer and poet. Alexander Sergeevitch Pushkin is surrounded by legends. It’s known that Alexander Sergeevitch was very cheerful and loved to crack a joke. Creators of this show also allowed themselves some mischief. “Fairy-tale about tsar Saltan” – is a wonderfully bright, dynamic show in playful, buffoonery manner. Citations from the scholar’s statements about Pushkin’s creativity helped to make this show so unusual. Combination of traditional fairy-tale’s plot and children’s statements fills the show with a god portion of humor and cheerful eccentricity.

  "Several Days from Fenka’s Life”

   You’ll be certainly surprised if in one rainy evening a girl smaller than the smallest boy, with a nose like a button and rumpled hair knocks at your window. The girl is charming and fascinating and this strange visitor will eat all the nails, paper, soap and matches in the house and then invite her friends…

Our Fen’ka who lives in Granddad’s house is very unusual. She loves to dream, play tricks and jokes all the time. Walking around the house a naughty girl makes friends with Granny-Kladovka, the Man from the Clock, the Hostess of a Dustbin and with other interesting characters.

The premiere of the play was held on November 25, 2006.          

   Maybe you will be surprised if during the one rainy day, into your window will knock a tiny girl with the nose looks like a button, dressed into a funny clothers. She is completely charming, besides, this girl eats everything: nails, paper, soap, matches, and after that she will invite all her friends... So, this girl is called Fenka, and she into the window of Granddaddy. Investigating the new home, Fenka is meets all its dwellers: Granny-storeroom, Little Man from the clock, with the Master of the garbage container and many others amazing characters.

M. Arkovsky

"Happy Birthday, the Little Red Riding Hood!”"
 

    This show is a musical fairy tale – game. Following the Little Red Riding Hood into a fascinating traveling, viewers will meet the cow Musia, Herdboy, Young Frog, Kitten, and offcourse with Wolf, who in our fairy tale is not an evil beast, but very likes pies. All the heroes of this magical traveling are becoming friends, even Wolf receives the whole basket of pies, because “in fairy tale, just like in the real life, small pleasures must have a place.”, as one of the heroes of the show said.

Y. Usenuk, V. Borisov

"Gusi-Lebedi"
 

    The show is created on motives of a famous Russian national fairy tale “Priverednica” (fastidious person). Viewers may not only watch the adventures of brother and sister, that are have to face and overcome a lot of difficulties, until they come home to their father and mother, viewers can take a part in this story. In this show the interactive dialogue with children is used. Children will help heroes to find the way home, and may taste the food from Apple Tree, from Oven... Fantastic puppets and decorations were created by an artist O. Sidorenko. Even the Baba-Yaga looks charming in this spectacle.

M. Bartenev

"Netochka Nezvanova"
 

    Thanks to the creators of the performance, the author of the play M. Bartenev, the producer Y. Mer and the artist A. Kardash who tried to make the atmosphere of Dostoevsky’s Petersburg, the spectators turn to be in the environment of a tavern of the 19th century and become participators of a psychological drama.   N. Paganini’s music can be heard during the performance.

The premiere was held on October 26, 2007.        

 

    The spectacle is created on motives of F.M. Dostoevsky’s work of art. Rarely the name of F.M. Dostoevsky is written in the playbill. The story takes place in a tavern of a previous century. In this tavern live music sounds. The Director Ya. Mer and the artist A. Kardash tried to recreate the atmosphere of Dostoevsky’s St. Petersburg. In this show N. Paganini’s music is used.

V. Suteev

"Who said "Myau!"?"
 

    Action takes place in England, in the beautiful garden of Mr. Charley and Ms. Agate. There are a lot of animals living in their garden: the piglet called Piggi, the cock called Kocky, the sinning called Worm, the frog called Froggy and the main character – the puppy called Doggy he is the real dog-detective. He is investigating the difficult question “Who said “Myau!”?”.

"The White fairy tales"
 

    It is a real Christmas story about the greatest miracle on the Earth – about the naissance of Jesus Christ, in this show all the shades of white winter color are shining and charming the viewer. The director and author is E. Ivanova. She fairly decided, that Christmas holidays are also entertainment. This why the spectacle is lucky mixed with “The Morogenue songs”(“The Frozen songs”) of S. Pisahov.

"The story-chain"
 

    The unusual show with circus elements will intrigue all the viewers. Girl called Katya is loudly crying – the head of her doll Masha has been lost, the Cat will help her to find it, if she will give the Cat some milk, the Cow will give some milk if somebody will feed her with some hay, and so on... This fairy tale is looks like a bright chain. In this show music of different genres is used: from tango to rap.

D. Mamin-Sibiryak

"Seraya sheika"
 

    ”Seraya sheika” was written by Mamin-Sibiryak for his daughter Alena, as well as the other kind and wise fairy tales. Seraya Sheika will face a lot of troubles and tests. This story will make children to appreciate their parents care about them.

"Shepherdess and a chimney sweep"
 

    Adults, as well as children like fairy tales written by Danish writer Hans Hristian Andersen. His fairy tales are always kind, wise and poetical. There are animals, birds, people, natural phenomenon and even the usual things are having the true humanity valuables. Our spectacle is about love. In this story porcelain figures of Shepherdess and Chimney sweep are coming to life. Also, you will meet Chinese, Goatleg, and even the opera prima Donna.

The premiere was held on 13.03.2004.

"Three piglets 20 years later"
 

    In the forest, where there are a lot of mushrooms and flowers, grandsons of the legendary piglets and Grey wolf are living. Piglets Nif and Noof love their granddaddies very much, but make the same mistakes, and only piglet Nafa tries to reconcile her brothers and hungry Grey Flank Wolf. They all love music, and it helps them to become friends: piglets are preparing for the festival “Zvuki Hruki” and playing the favorite music of their granddaddies – the most famous Beatles’s songs.

"Mashenka and the Bear"
 

    This spectacle is created on motives of a Russian national fairy tale, but here, Mashenka is a modern girl, initiative and practical. She completely changes the way of life of the Bear. Masha cares about him, and the Bear stops feeling himself solitary. But Masha’s grandfather and grandmother are waiting for her! So, what would she do?

G. Vladichina

"The elephant calf"
 

    Musical fairy tale for children of a preschool age, and for elementary school age. All the children are asking questions. And adults, certainly are answering. The main hero of this show is the elephant calf. He, like all the other children, was very inquisitive, and asked all Africa’s inhabitants hundreds of questions. For example: “Who is the crocodile?”, “Does it have a grandmother?” and even “What doeas the crocodile eats for dinner?”. So, the elephant calf is have to go to a Limpopo river to learn everything by himself. It’s extremely interesting to know everything!

N. V. Gogol

"The Night on Ivana Kupala"
 

    The performance is staged by Gogol’s fantastic story “The Night on Ivana Kupala”. By the legends the most unbelievable events can take place at that night. In order to show miracles on the stage the producer uses a trick of “a black room” where spectators can see the puppets but the actors are not seen. There are a lot of beautiful Ukraine songs in the performance and all the troupe of the theatre is occupied in the play.

 The premiere of the play was held on July 20, 2000. 

 

    Spectacle is created on motives of fantastic novel written by N.V. Gogol. Following the legend, at the Ivan Kupala’s night supernatural forces are coming to life and different unusual events take place. To make the scene full of miracles, the director of the show uses the “black cabinet”: only puppets are visible on the scene. In this spectacle charming Ukrainian national music is used.

A. Pogorelsky

"The Black Hen"
 

    About two hundreds of years this fairy-tale is popular. It was written by Aleksey Petrovsky (his nickname was Antonui Pogorelsky), he was the contemporary of A.S. Pushkine. This story was written for the author’s nephew Alesha. In this fairy-tale a boy, called Alesha, gets into an underground kingdom, where his favorite black hen Chernushka is the Main Minister. Alesha promises to treat everything he saw as a secret, but breaks his promise. And this leads to an exile of an underground dwellers. Alesha repents very much, and his repentance gives him a chance to become a good person. Pogorelsky’s nephew Alesha growed up and became one of the most remarkable Russian writers – Aleksey Konstantinovich Tolstoy. Spectacle “The Black Hen” on a festival “Vologodskaya Poteha” got the diploma “The best artist’s work”.

"The jumping princess"
 

    Two funny clowns, the big one and a small one, are telling and showing the fairy tale about a princess Yarmilka, that was cursed by evil wizard. She is always jumping. But the brave prince Irgik is beating the evil wizard and rescuing the princess from this curse. This fairy tale is teaching the little viewers to make good deeds and believe, that the good always wins.

"The kitten called Gav"
 

    This spectacle, with an easy plot is for the youngest viewers. The kitten called Gav is learning new things about the world around, he has hundreds of questions like “Why?”, “For what?”. Characters face different troubles, and solving them together. The spectacle is teaching to be kind, to respect each other.

M. Bartenev

"Tuk-tuk, kto tam?"
 

    Our show – comic opera is created om motives of Russian fairy tale “The Wolf and seven kids”, but in our spectacle there are only two kids, and they are amazingly creative. The Wolf, despite of being scary, is not malicious, he is kind and very unlucky. He dreams of a house cosiness, and even falls in love with the Goat!

"Pinokio"
 

    Pinokio is a wooden small man, very similar to our Russian Buratino. The story about amazing adventures of Pinokio is shown by the buffoonery’s master, actor and author Peppino, and his helper Ninutcha.

Sergey Sedov

"Tereshechka"

(a Russian folk tale in one act)

    There lived Granddad and Granny. They didn’t have children. Granny took a log, swaddled it and then came the hero of our performance – Tereshechka. At first he lived with Granddad and Granny but later on left them to see the world and show himself.  Tereshechka met a wicked witch Chuvilikcha …. Our performance has a good end like the Russian tale because kindness always wins a victory over malice.

The premiere was held on May 11, 1994.

 

    Once upon a time there were an old man and an old women. They had no children. One day this old women swaddled a log, and it became the main character of our show – Tereshechka. He lefts the old man and the old woman and starts investigating the world. During the story Tereshechka meets an evil sorcerer called Chuviliha... In our spectacle, as well as in Russian national fairy tale, good wins.     

V. Livshic

"How did the soldier beat Zmey Gorinich?”"
 

    One of the most famous heroes of Russian fairy tales is a Soldier. He can do everything: he will punish the greedy one, he will teach the stupid one, he is protecting the weak. Besides, the Soldier can make the soup with an axe as ingredient, can play play cards with Devil, can rescue girl from imprisonment. In our show, the Soldier is witty and resourceful, it helps him to defeat Zmey Gorinich.

"Young Fox – Cheater"
 

    In the fantastic forest there are a lot of hilarious and funny beasts. Everybody is calling the Young Fox - Cheater, because he is always cheats his friends. “What is good and what is bad?” – children ask adults. This fairy tale is an answer for that difficult and very important question.

V. Orlov

"The Golden Chicken"
 

    Everybody knows the fairy tale about the hen called Ryaba, who layed the golden egg. In our show the unusual idea takes place: Wolf and Fox are taking the egg for... It’s a secret, you will discover what happened after watching the spectacle. It’s interesting for adults as well as for children. “The Golden Chicken” was played 20 years ago for the first time, and it’s still popular!
